Who We Are

MKI Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to creating lasting social impact by advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through our targeted initiatives, we aim to address pressing challenges in education, gender equality, environmental conservation, and community development in Nigeria. We believe in empowering individuals and communities to unlock their full potential and build a brighter, more sustainable future.

To inspire, empower, and uplift communities in Nigeria by providing access to quality education, promoting environmental conservation, fostering gender equality, and building a network of mentorship for your people.

Vision Statement

A future where every individual, regardless of location or background, has access to opportunities that enable them to thrive and contribute to a more sustainable world.

  • To set up and carry out social impact initiatives to support the SDG 2030 goals
  • Providing educational opportunities for young children in Nigeria (Senior Secondary School Students) to meet SGD Goal 4 on Quality Education
  • Contribute to the environmental conservation efforts in rural Nigeria through engagement with local stakeholders and collaborative efforts to achieve the SDG goal of Climate Action
  • To provide mentorship opportunities and counseling to young adults, especially women and young girls, in contribution to the Gender Equality efforts
  • And such other charitable purposes as may be incidental to the promotion of the foregoing charitable objects
How It All Began

MKI Foundation was founded in 2020 by the founder who recognized the need to address key societal challenges in Nigeria. What started as a simple idea has grown into a powerful movement that has reached hundreds of lives across various communities in Nigeria. Our journey began with a commitment to making a difference, and today, that commitment is stronger than ever.

Graham Onche

Graham Onche is currently the Director of Programs and Monitoring and Evaluation officer (M&E) for MKI Foundation.

Graham specializes in office administrations, Supervision and daily operations. He is responsible for educating other employees. He is a powerful force in the workplace and uses his positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Graham is passionate about community development, improving individuals existing skills and giving back.

In his free time, he likes to hike, watch football and hangout with friends and loved ones.

Ijato Daniel Idakwoji

Idakwoji Ijato is the community director for Makoji Kelvin Ibrahim Foundation with a strong background in building and nurturing vibrant, engaged communities.

Skilled in strategic planning, event management, and stakeholder collaboration, I am dedicated to fostering inclusivity and driving positive change.

Passionate about leveraging communication and social media to enhance community relationships and promote shared goals. Committed to creating environments where diverse voices are heard and valued of which the Makoji Kelvin Ibrahim Foundation has amplified.

Hobbies includes but not limited to reading, watching movies and hanging with friends.

Christiana Ajefu

Christiana Ajefu is a dedicated entomologist with a commitment to improving the lives of underserved communities. With a Master’s degree in Entomology and Parasitology from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, and a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Federal University of Lafia, she brings both academic insight and hands-on experience to her role. Her background in pest management, vector surveillance, and environmental health is complemented by her broader passion for social impact.

Christiana has served as a field entomologist with the United Programme for Sightsavers. At the National Arbovirus and Vectors Research Centre, she contributed to studies on insecticide resistance while developing skills in research administration, community outreach, and data analysis.

As the Director of Welfare at MKI Foundation. Christiana’s role focused on creating an adaptable program environment aligning with the organization’s mission to give back in all meaningful ways.
